So the government, in all its infinite, non existent wisdom has decided to make it a crime for anybody between 16-18 to live their lives as they see fit. The government thinks that it has divine right to meddle with things that do not concern it.
Why am I angry? It will not effect me. I will be too old to be effected when it rolls into place. Well, I am furious for a number of reasons
1.) It will destroy our colleges. Yes, because people are FORCED to attend college, people wont care, wont co-operate and will ruin our existing colleges.
2.) Why can't a 16 year old decide what he wants to do with his life? Perhaps he wants to volunteer for a year at a local hospice. Too bad! You have to go into schooling. And if you resist, we will lock you and your parents up. Thank you officers for going after Britain's most hardened criminals.
3.) We haven't been making people attend college in the past. People in the UK can (largely) read. So why do we have to put this law into place?
4.) Teenage mothers will be unable to care for their children. Why? Because they are in school.
5.) Carers will be unable to care for their dependents. Why? Because they are in school.
So to sum up what I have said, the government wants to waste YOUR money, to put people in college, where they do not want to be, meaning that children and disabled people will have the amount of care reduced.
Great idea
numbnuts!
